Welcome to Virtus (“we” or “us”) website, thisisvirtus.com (“Site”). We ask that all Customers and/or Users (“you” or “your”) abide by the terms and conditions that follow, along with any other terms and conditions that may appear on the Site from time-to-time (collectively “the Conditions”). 

Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement with the Conditions that follow, and we reserve the right to revise these Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will post them here. You agree to check this section periodically to be aware of any changes and your continued use of the Site shall be considered your agreements to any modified Conditions. If you do not agree to these Conditions, please do not use the Site.


Online Product Terms and Conditions


1. Online store terms

(a) The content provided in our guide and/or handbooks is written by us (“Product”). The Product is designed to help individuals progress towards their health, fitness, and martial arts goals.

(b) By agreeing to the Conditions, you agree that you will not use our Product for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you violate any laws of England and Wales, including, but not limited to the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended).


2. General conditions

(a) We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

(b) You understand that your information, not including your credit and/or debit card information, may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks and changes may be made to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devises.

(c) You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, resell or exploit the use of the Product or any content on the website, without express written permission by us.

(d) The laws of England and Wales shall govern the terms of the Conditions.


3. Product Information

(a) The Product is not provided as a replacement for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and is not expressly designed to address any ailments and/or injuries.

(b) You agree to obtain consent to perform any suggested work-out movements from a medically trained professional, such as General Practitioner, or any other health expert if you suffer from any ailments and/or injuries prior to undertaking any work-out movement provided in the Product.

(c) The Product is to be used for guidance only purposes specifically for general health improvement and to obtain general knowledge within the martial arts industry.


4. Payment and Delivery

(a) Payment shall be made via the online payment link on Virtus website and confirmation of cleared funds shall be sent by email.

(b) Delivery of the Product shall be immediately once the online payment transaction has been completed and payment verification has been received by Virtus.


5. Cancellations

(a) The Customer agrees that once the Product has been downloaded, you agree to waive your legal right to the required fourteen (14) day cooling-off period and shall not be entitled to cancel your order and shall not be entitled to a refund for the Product.


6. Exclusion of Liability

(a) You expressly agree to wave, discharge and release Virtus from any and all responsibility and/or liability for injuries, death, damage, or loss of any kind resulting from any and/or all participation in whole or in part in connection with any activities in whole or in part provided in the Product.

(b) You agree that any participation in whole or in part in connection with any activity in whole in or part shall be at your own risk.

(c) You agree to wave, discharge and release Virtus from any liability resulting from any interpretation or use of the information provided in the Product.


7. Warranties

(a) All materials and information provided in the Product have been obtained from a variety of sources, including the personal experience of Virtus staff members, any material which has been provided by a third-party, consent and approval has been obtained to use such material and information.

(b) Virtus makes no express warranties in respect of the Product and excludes all implied warranties terms or conditions from this agreement.


8. Intellectual Property

(a) For the purpose of this clause, Virtus IP means all means all Intellectual Property Rights (present or future) created, discovered or coming into existence as a result of, for the purpose of, or in connection with the supply of the Product (including all Intellectual Property Rights in anything developed by Virtus in supplying the Product and any Intellectual Property Rights in any documentation provided by the Virtus to the Customer).

(b) The Customer acknowledges and agrees that Virtus is the sole and exclusive owner of all Virtus IP.

(c) The Customer agrees that it will not disclose any details or, or information relating to Virtus IP.

(d) The Customer agrees that nothing in the Conditions grants to the Customer any right, title or interest in or to any of Virtus IP.

(e) The Customer undertakes that it will not claim to have acquired any right, title or interest in Virtus IP.
